FORGED STEEL CHECK VALVE
Threaded steel check valves are used to prevent backflow in pipelines. Flow occurs in a straight line through the valve when the output pressure decreases (pressure differential). The disc then moves to the open position, allowing flow through the line. When the input pressure is lower than the output pressure, the valve disc closes, preventing flow. Check valves can be installed horizontally or vertically along the pipeline system, but must be installed according to the flow direction indicated by the arrow markings on the body.
