The WEG motor is an explosion-proof motor specifically designed to operate in environments with explosive atmospheres. It features a robust construction, an anti-sparking system with carefully designed gaps between components, precision machining on the terminal box, and high-strength fasteners. It meets the requirements of explosive atmospheres such as Zone 1 and Zone 2.
The standard performance of the WEG motor complies with IE1 performance level, as specified in IEC 60034-30-1.
