FORGED STEEL CHECK VALVE - STEFFENINI
Threaded steel check valves are used to prevent backflow in pipelines. Flow flows in a straight line through the valve when the outlet pressure drops (differential pressure). The disc then moves into a position that opens flow through the line. When the head pressure is lower than the outlet, the valve disc will close to prevent flow from passing through. Check valves can be installed horizontally or vertically along the pipeline system. but must be installed in accordance with the instructions indicated by the flow direction arrow marked on the body.
