TFA BREATHING VALVES
The TFA series models are designed, manufactured, and tested to API 2000/API 650 standards. These valves are used on liquid storage tanks designed by API 520/API 650 to prevent external flames where flammable gases enter the equipment or to prevent the spread of flames within the equipment room.

Technical Description

According to API 2000 and EN 16852, TFA valves are designed, manufactured, and tested for use on liquid storage tanks built under API 520 / API 650 standards.
These valves prevent external flames from entering flammable gas equipment and stop flame propagation inside the tank system.
The flame arrestor function is achieved through narrow heat-conductive channels, which dissipate heat and extinguish flames. The flame arrestor structure may include gravel-type or metallic mesh-type designs.
